Treat your private feed link like a password.
Your private feed link gives direct access to your completed Briefcast editions without asking for a separate login in your podcast app.
Do not publish it or share screenshots that show the full address. Anyone with the complete link may be able to listen to your feed.
Automatic delivery
New editions appear like podcast episodes.
Once an edition is complete, it appears in your private feed with its title, notes, and audio. Editions that are still being prepared do not appear as finished episodes.
Support for private or custom RSS varies by app. You can always use the Briefcast web player if your app does not support it or is slow to refresh.
Your editions
Your feed only contains your Briefcast.
Each private feed belongs to one account and only provides that account's completed editions. Keep the feed link private to keep access under your control.

- Is a private RSS feed password protected?
- The private link itself provides access, so most podcast apps do not ask for a separate password. Keep the full link to yourself.
- Can search engines find my feed?
- Private feeds are excluded from normal search discovery, but you should still keep your link private because anyone with it may be able to listen.
- Does the feed include transcripts?
- The feed includes the edition title, notes, and audio. The matching transcript is available when you log in to Briefcast.
- Why has an edition not appeared in my app yet?
- Podcast apps choose their own refresh schedule. Confirm the edition is complete in Briefcast, then refresh the custom feed in the app when that control is available.
