How Briefcast works

Turn new podcast episodes into one shorter daily listen.

Follow your favorite shows, choose how long you want to listen, and get the best parts together in one edition made for your schedule.

01 / Follow

Choose the podcasts you care about.

Find a podcast by name or add its public RSS feed on a paid plan. Trial can choose podcasts whose episodes are already prepared in Briefcast.

New episodes wait for your next Briefcast, so you can take a day off without losing them or filling your edition with old back-catalog episodes.

  • Search by name or add an RSS feed
  • Choose which shows appear
  • No repeated episodes

02 / Edit

Briefcast finds the parts worth your time.

Briefcast looks for complete arguments, useful examples, important evidence, and clear conclusions. Most ad reads, long intros, repetition, and off-topic detours are left out.

The selected moments stay in the original speakers' voices and in their original order, so the shorter version remains easy to follow.

  • Original voices
  • Complete ideas with context
  • Most ads and filler removed

03 / Deliver

Get one edition that fits your day.

Each podcast becomes a chapter in one daily listen, with concise notes and a transcript of the moments that were kept.

Listen on the web or add your private feed to a compatible podcast app. Choose the days, ready time, and listening length that suit you.

  • One chapter per podcast
  • Notes and matching transcript
  • Web player and private podcast feed

Questions, answered

Before you press play.

Does Briefcast rewrite the speaker's words?
No. The audio edition uses selected sections of the original episode. Notes summarize those sections, while the displayed transcript follows the retained audio.
Will every episode be included?
Briefcast starts with the latest episode you have not already received from each chosen podcast. It may also include a few recent short episodes, but it will not repeat completed ones.
Will my edition be ready at the time I choose?
Briefcast starts preparing ahead of your chosen time. Very long episodes or unavailable source files can occasionally cause delays.
Can I still hear the original episode?
Yes. Briefcast does not alter the source feed. It creates a separate personal edition from the shows you choose.
