Daily podcast digest

Wake up to one short digest from the podcasts you follow.

Choose the days, time, and listening length that fit your routine. Briefcast gathers the best parts of your new episodes into one edition scheduled around your day.

Stay caught up

Miss a day without missing an episode.

An episode does not need to be published today to appear in your next Briefcast. If you have not received it before, it can wait for the next day you choose to listen.

When a show publishes several short episodes, Briefcast can include a few together and play them in a natural order. Episodes from completed editions are not repeated.

Your routine

Choose when it arrives and how long it lasts.

Pick the weekdays, local time, and target length for your edition. Briefcast starts preparing early so your digest can be ready by the time you choose.

Your schedule follows your local timezone, and preparation continues even when you close the page.

  • Choose any day of the week
  • Set your local ready time
  • Pick a 5-to-60-minute target
  • Close the page while it prepares

One easy listen

Every podcast gets its own chapter.

Your shows remain separate inside the daily digest. Each one has a title, duration, and chapter control, so you can skip between podcasts without searching through the full edition.

Questions, answered

Before you press play.

What happens when there are no new episodes?
Briefcast tells you that you are caught up instead of replaying an episode you already received.
Can I create an edition whenever I want?
Yes. You can request an edition from the Today screen without waiting for your schedule, within your account limits.
What happens if an edition fails?
Its episodes remain available for a later attempt. Briefcast only marks them as delivered after an edition is complete.
Why can preparation take time?
Briefcast may need to work through several hours of new podcast audio before it can create your shorter edition.
